2. Contractual Basis
The basis of the travel contract is the respective tour description, these General Terms and Conditions,
and the written booking confirmation issued by Azatek Travel.
Any deviations or special agreements must be made in writing.
3. Booking and Conclusion of Contract
By making a booking (in writing, by e-mail or online), the customer submits a binding offer to conclude a travel contract with the tour operator.
The travel contract is concluded upon written confirmation of the booking by Azatek Travel.
4. Services
The scope of the contractual services is defined by the tour description and the booking confirmation.
Services not included in the tour price (e.g. optional activities, additional meals, personal expenses) shall be borne by the customer.
5. Prices and Payment
The tour price is stated in the booking confirmation.
• Upon conclusion of the contract, a deposit of 30% of the tour price is due.
• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days prior to the start of the trip.
In the event of late or non-payment, the tour operator reserves the right to withdraw from the contract.
6. Cancellation by the Customer
The customer may withdraw from the contract at any time prior to the start of the trip. The cancellation must be made in writing.
The following cancellation fees apply:
• up to 45 days before departure: free of charge (0%)
• 44–30 days before departure: 30 %
• 29–15 days before departure: 50 %
• 14–7 days before departure: 70 %
• less than 6 days before departure or no-show: 100 %
Already incurred and non-refundable costs may be charged additionally.
7. Termination of the Travel Contract by the Organizer
a) Failure to Reach the Planned Group Size
If a trip is not expressly offered as guaranteed, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the trip
if the planned number of participants is not reached.
The customer will be informed no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled start of the trip.
Any payments already made will be fully refunded.
Upon request, an alternative offer based on a smaller group size may be prepared,
or a rebooking to another available travel date may be offered.
b) Unforeseeable Events and Exceptional Circumstances
The organizer is entitled to withdraw from the travel contract if unforeseeable or exceptional circumstances arise that significantly impair or make impossible the proper execution of the trip.
Such circumstances include, in particular, natural events, extreme weather conditions, official measures, security-related situations, or comparable events beyond the organizer’s control.
In such cases, the organizer will endeavor to inform the customer transparently and, where feasible, offer alternative solutions. Further claims exist only within the limits of applicable law.
c) Customer Conduct
The organizer is entitled to terminate the travel contract with immediate effect if the customer’s behavior seriously disrupts the course of the trip,
endangers other participants, or violates legal regulations.
In such cases, there is no entitlement to a refund. Any additional costs incurred shall be borne by the customer.
8. Changes to the Travel Program
Changes to the itinerary for organizational, safety-related, or weather-related reasons remain reserved, provided that the overall character of the trip is not substantially affected.
The organizer will endeavor to provide equivalent services.
9. Liability
The tour operator is liable for the proper performance of the agreed services within the scope of applicable legal provisions.
Liability for damages caused by force majeure, the customer’s own fault, or services provided by third parties is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
No liability is assumed for loss or damage to personal belongings.
10. Active and Adventure Programs
Participation in active and adventure programs (e.g. hiking, off-road tours, horseback riding, cable cars, paragliding, etc.) is at the customer’s own risk.
The customer confirms that they are physically and medically fit to participate.
11. Insurance
The conclusion of an organizer’s liability insurance is carried out in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Customers are strongly advised to take out appropriate travel insurance, including travel cancellation insurance, international health insurance, and accident insurance.
12. Data Protection
Personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling the travel contract. Further information can be found in the Privacy Policy.
13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The laws of the Republic of Armenia shall apply.
The place of jurisdiction is Yerevan, insofar as legally permissible.
14. Final Provisions
Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
